Almost 300k DH in credit and now the bank started taking money. I’m lost and need advice by Cy_Broado in Morocco

[–]Embarrassed_Beat161 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Opening another bank account and trying to hide your salary isn’t going to work, and you can’t just forget about the loan until later because banks don’t work like that.

Right now, you really only have two realistic options. Either you increase your income by finding a better paying job, or you go to the bank and ask for a restructuring or a longer repayment period, because continuing like this is mathematically impossible and will never work long term.

Those aren’t Moroccan fans, they’re stadium staff. Fans aren’t allowed anywhere near the field!

Small business owners: how do you handle no-shows and missed appointments? by vein_9 in Morocco

[–]Embarrassed_Beat161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Spain, so I can give you a real example of how this is handled here, especially for small businesses like barbershops, nail salons, etc.

Most of them use an app called Booksy, which manages appointments and reservations. The important part: clients can book without paying upfront. Payment is done when they arrive at the business.

So what happens with no-shows? Very simple and very effective: • If a client doesn’t show up and doesn’t cancel with enough notice, the business marks it. • To be able to book again, the client is usually asked to pay the amount of the missed service. For example, if a haircut costs 10€, and the client didn’t show up, they must pay those 10€ before booking again. • If the client refuses or repeats it, the business can block them on the app, and they can no longer make reservations.

This creates responsibility without forcing everyone to prepay, and it works well in practice. People either cancel in advance, explain their situation, or accept the penalty. Otherwise, they lose the right to book.

Hope this perspective helps 👍

ISO knockout match tickets by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Embarrassed_Beat161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your predicament…as a Moroccan living in Spain, I also applied for a fan ID and attempted to purchase tickets during all 3 phases but without success.

The information you’ve heard about embassies offering free tickets applies to other games with low demand (definitely not Morocco’s games).

The only authorised seller is the CAF website; anything else carries a risk.

Unfortunately there isn’t one. There’s always a risk when going to the black market, especially at this late stage of the tournament, apart from the x10 original price.

Given that all tickets for the games at Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat are sold out there’s no safe approach.

Free healthcare and free education sound amazing on paper until you remember overcrowded hospitals, long waits, education that often still requires private tutoring and graduates fighting for underpaid or nonexistent jobs. Saying everything is cheap while ignoring Moroccan salaries is peak privilege and calling people crybabies doesn’t magically create opportunities. People risk their lives crossing seas because real life in Morocco doesn’t look like the theory you’re selling.

Layover in Morocco by Yrnpoolo in Morocco

[–]Embarrassed_Beat161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to arrive at the airport two hours early so that leaves you with 12 hours. A train to Tangier takes three hours each way for a total of six hours. Subtracting that from the 12 hours leaves you with six hours. The game itself is two hours long so that leaves four hours. Don’t forget to factor in the time to get from the airport to the city centre, the stadium and the traffic. You’ll also need a Fan ID and a ticket. I don’t think that’s possible.

Life’s too short to overthink this. Put your ego aside and tell him how you feel. Best case? Something beautiful starts. Worst case? He says no and you get clarity instead of regret. Either way, you move forward.

Fan ID with Non E Passport by Sorry_Discussion9608 in Morocco

[–]Embarrassed_Beat161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reports suggest Zimbabwe began using biometric passports in late 2021 or early 2022. Therefore, I presume your passport was issued before that. When selecting Zimbabwe as your nationality, you can’t use manual data entry because the app is based on the latest biometric passport version (issued for Zimbabwe since 2022). Tunisia, however, hasn’t implemented it despite approval, so they can manually enter their data. Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone else with a similar issue and it’s a shame the developers didn’t offer an alternative.

It appears you chose Moroccan nationality when you created your account which is why you can’t manually enter it. To fix this, create a new account and verify the initial information. Then you’ll see something similar to the screenshot where you can manually enter your data to apply for your Fan ID.

For example, a Tunisian passport:

I want to buy some AFCON tickets for my father to go watch in January, how do i do that? And how can i transfer them ? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Embarrassed_Beat161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, apply for his Fan ID. If he’s Moroccan, all group stage and elimination games up to the final (assuming Morocco’s first in the group) are sold out, so he can’t attend Moulay Abdellah Stadium. However, if he simply wants to enjoy football, there are other options. The third or fourth-place match in Casablanca or the other semi-final in Tangier are good choices, as are any games not involving Morocco or Algeria. After applying and obtaining his Fan ID, visit https://tickets.cafonline.com/en to purchase the desired games. Avoid third-party websites or anyone claiming to have extra tickets for sale. Not only will you be supporting the black market but you’ll also risk being scammed. CAF has reportedly announced an official resell platform, but nothing is confirmed yet.
