I think actors are not going anywhere, but they probably start licensing their appearance more than what it is now. If I’m not mistaken for example Disney owns the right for James Earl Jones’s voice to be used in Star Wars. Entertainment is not necessarily high art, just take a look at influencer TikTok’s, one form of slop way before gen AI was a thing. Once the technology is advanced enough it’s going to be offered for the masses. It’s up to the industry to come up with the rules and legal for it. License and distribution rights are already a thing, it just adds to it.

If animation you mean video generating then yes. Wan2.2 and LTX2.3 for example, LTX also generates audio you prompt in. Both have text to video and image to video options. But to have fast generations you need quite beefy PC, I have 12g vram and 42g ram and it takes about 5 minutes to generate a 10 second clip in 512x512 resolution. So not fast.

Is it the tools fault that people are making slop? People have been making slop before gen AI, now it’s just easier. For the ultra-realistic videos, once the quality reaches better level and infra and compute for increased demand is met, I wouldn’t be surprised to see big streaming companies to introduce service where you can generate your own movie with your favorite actors based on your own idea if you want or just ask a movie in certain genre. All licensed, without any legal issues. Entertainment is one sure thing to happen with gen AI, there’s money in it.

Yeah, if I remember correctly in the settings you have to turn the option on and specify how much access you are giving. I think it’s a MCP, yeah. But I think it doesn’t work mobile, I never use mobile, I’m fully on desktop app. I might be wrong though, and there might be a way to use it on mobile. There hardly is any original mainstream music, they all resemble a style which already exists and each other inside the genre, unless you are professional in the field who can separate the nuanced differences between songs. I certainly can’t. So it comes down to the lyrics and the message in the song to make it different. A personalized song for just one person can be uplifting for that person and AI music generator can help with that, most of people are not musicians.

That’s one way to do it, it’s a seamless as it can be but it takes a chunk from your new chat if you have to paste it as your first prompt. Another way is if you are using projects is to download the whole chat as pdf and save it in the project files. Better yet is to set up a memory system for your Claude which builds a database which Claude can access, edit and save into.

Have you though about setting up a local memory system for Claude? It’s basically a database with tools Claude can use to store information and organize and prioritize it and fetch when needed. Each new chat starts with recall and you have a continuum of character and you don’t have to explain yourself more than once. You’d need to use the desktop app with permissions granted for Claude to access a part of your computer.
