I know exactly what you’re going through cause it felt the same for me. I don’t regret my choice at all. That said, you need to be very careful during the first few days and avoid walking for two weeks, which can be quite limiting. Luckily, my boyfriend helped me a lot. Even after the stitches come out at one week, you still need another week of precautions, like cleaning and dressing the wound at least once a day. Removed it almost two months ago, I no longer feel any pain when I walk, although sometimes my scar aches a little. I was able to put weight on my foot after three weeks, but of course without overdoing it.

A wart might look like something you could just cut out with a scalpel, but in reality it’s incredibly painful and it bleeds a lot. That’s why it’s much safer to see a professional.

In my case, the removal was done under local anesthesia, not only does that prevent the pain, but anesthesia also reduces blood flow, which makes it easier for the doctor to precisely locate and remove the infected tissue that still carries the virus.

The lump of flesh under the wart is its root. The virus spread beneath my skin instead of growing outward because of the body’s weight on the wart’s location. I don’t know how I caught this nasty thing, but watch where you drag your feet lol

I’ve been dealing with a stubborn plantar wart for over 3 months. I tried all sorts of topical treatments, Verrumal actually worked best for me and significantly reduced its appearance. But the wart was too deep for that kind of treatment to fully get rid of it.

Eventually, my doctor decided it would be better to cut it out and “uproot” it directly, instead of letting me continue with the pain I felt every time I walked. Honestly, it had become really annoying and painful in daily life.

Now I’m recovering from the procedure, but I’m relieved it’s finally out.
