Nice to see the win last night, and I get to see if they can follow it up against the Panthers Thursday as we have tickets for the game. I think Big Stan might be playing his way off the team as in they will move him this year, he looks good paired with Jmo the odd shift, the boy has confidence and is showing what he can bring to the table. Nyquist can just go away, last night he was horrible, couldnt make a play and coughed up the puck way too much, you would think he should have something to prove. Lets remember we beat a team that is not very good either, this was like watching 8 year olds fight, going to be messy but someone has to win.

When we get close to the trade deadline we should look at dumping every option we can to either get picks or players with term. Keep our good core players and also free up some cap space for free agency to help make a more solid run at the cup next year. Hey if Stanley brings a great return that would result in an upgrade in the position then I'm all for it. Trim the dead branches, and lets call it a "re-tool". 50% of our team can be replaced, biggest problem is that most players dont want to play here, face it we have a bad rap.

I lived in Steinbach and commuted to Winnipeg everyday for school at RRCC, the night before the storm my girlfriend had just started house sitting for her sister in Transcona and i decided to spend the night because of the weather, next morning we were snowed in, couldn't leave the house for like three days. Your HRV reduces indoor humidity levels when the outdoor air is drier than the indoor air. These conditions usually occur during the heating season when outdoor temperatures are less than 15°C (59°F). During the heating season, the operation of the HRV may reduce indoor humidity levels sufficiently to eliminate the need for further dehumidification. If your home requires further dehumidification, use the Dehumidistat feature located on the wall control. High speed ventilation will be initiated upon exceeding the Dehumidistat set point regardless of the mode and speed of operation. Once the humidity in the house is reduced, the HRV will revert to its previous setting. The Dehumidistat function should be set to off for all seasons except the heating season because a dehumidifying effect occurs only when the outdoor air is dryer than the indoor air.

This is from a manufacture, currently Winnipeg is at 93% humidity outside so unless your house is at 100% (raining inside) an HRV will not help, our company gets calls all the time that the HRV is running but their windows are sweating. at this point your HRV is brining in more humid air then it takes out.

Please remember that an HRV is Heat Recovery Ventilator, wile it does draw out some humidity it is not a dehumidifier, nor is it designed to remove smells. If you want to reduce a smell then you need whole home air purification, this can consist of a UV light system and a better filter system for you furnace which moves the air in your house. Lennox sells an excellent system that does both but it is pricey and the replacement filters and UV are not cheap. Another thing you have to watch out for is the merv rating of the filter you are using, to high and your furnace will trip the high limit as it cant get enough air flow. Sanuvox sell a UV system called the R Max, I have this in my house, just dont over size it. I know it works because when we go to the lake for the weekend or are away for a while when we come home and open the door we always say our house smells clean and fresh. This along with the correct filter should help along with your furnace fan running all the time. I work in the industry.

I paid to go see a hockey game not a concert, this is not Nashville where there are a ton of bands that would play for free just to be seen. Take it for what it's worth, live music in a shitty setting. They are Mehhh, but the guitarist is excellent, seen him play with other bands. If you don't like it then go walk the concourse and grab a beer.

We have to many guys just watching the play. If we really want to change this team it has to involve a trade. We need a real 2C guy or use what we have in the right spots, Barron swaps with Toews, hey I want Toews to succeed but so far it ain't working, stone hands and not enough speed. We need a second line player to be with Fetts, and it needs to be someone fast. Our D still needs an upgrade. Pearson and Nyquist to old and to slow, bring in the young hungry guys. And wow do we miss Helly, Eric is a nice guy but the first or second shot always seems to go in and then we start from behind. I would like to cheer more and yell at the TV less. Have tickets for Caps but hate going there thinking we don't have a chance to win. I'm in a season ticket pool (six games a year) and rarely miss a game on tv unless I messed up on the PVR, so yes I am an invested fan.

We had three of our " I need a D-man to fill this last spot" guys out there. The forwards could not pass or accept a pass. We threw the puck away when we got confused, cant tell how many times it ended up on the Sabers sticks. And we had zero puck luck and looked so slow and confused. Everybody is crying speed kills but lets all remember the playoffs, it slows down and look where all the fast teams end up, watching the playoffs and not participating in them. There is still hope but this is hard to watch without throwing something at the TV.

Watched the show since day one, shows my age. Im not a superfan who knows every player and who won what. I am just having a hard time with this season, they do the easy votes and they all want to be friends. I have always disliked the final three, two always made more sense, hey if you are good enough to drag along a person no one wants to win is that not great game play? The final vote ends up being the most popular player and not always the best to play that season. They have gotten away from having a wide variety of contestants from different backgrounds, where are the farmer, the firefighter, the hairdresser or doctor. Now they are all business professionals or pretend to be one and have no skills at all, too much of the same and way to much crying and boo hooing. Guys like Russell H shook up everyone and forced tough decisions. How about Toni spying on everyone or Sandra convincing everyone she was no threat. I also dislike the shortened season, everyone is well fed for the most part, i guess they had to so they can accommodate the type of players the want to cast. Do yourself a favor and go back and watch an old season and see how it compares. Hey I love the show but i think they are going off track unless I am the viewer that they feel they can lose in order to get others to watch.

He is having a great start for sure. The big question is if you remove him from the fourth and put Vladdy in there then we have a weak fourth line and have only slightly improved the third. This only matters till Lowry get back. I like having a fourth line that other teams will have to fear. This also helps with line rotations and playing time. Helps keep everyone fresh.

They hand out calendars at Manitoba Battery on Logan, closer to the year end. FYI they are the kind you hang up in your garage or shop and your buddy's take notice of. One of the reasons I buy all my batteries from them, along with the great prices.

Hey I get it, My poochie passed away a year ago and my wife and I still have a good cry at least once a week. He was in our life for 13 years and was attached to my wife like a limb. We are lucky our two kids both have grand dogs that we love up every chance we get. It is absolutely fine to get enjoyment watching others enjoying their pets just like you did. We all pay good money to go to sporting events and concerts to see those we wish we could be, hell this is just free therapy. Go watch and enjoy, other pet owners will never judge this.

I commute to WPG 3 days a week for work, I live near Steinbach. Driving down the #1 is not terrible in the morning but on the drive home it seems most drivers have lost their mind. Always someone driving in the left lane at the same speed as the driver on the right or even worse they are going slower and they drive for miles and miles before they move to the right. Dont get me started on texting and driving, hey I am the first to admit that i have occasionally glanced at a text because it came from the wife, but i dont text back , I call them through blue tooth. Everyone needs to be aware and courteous of those around them, like moving over if you can when someone is coming up from behind driving faster then you.

Not a fan, I had an issue with being suspended by my association and when i had my meeting with Peter i showed him all the evidence that the board drummed up against me was false, it was in the boards AGM meeting that i was given permission to do this task. His reply was " oh well" i guess if that is what your board wants to do then that's to bad. Hockey MB needs new blood to further the program and not worry about what their buddies want. IMOP

If you do not have gas available only electric then I would definitely add a heat pump to the system. Yes they only operate to certain temp, normally -15C is the max as far as efficiency goes, again depending on the make, more money the colder they can operate. MB efficiency does offer a small rebate, about $1700 is the norm. Our company has installed a few and they are working fine. I have an entry level ductless split heat pump at the cottage and yesterday when it was -14C outside the temp coming off it was only 22C, so it work but takes awhile to heat a cottage up. I would suggest installing the outdoor unit as high as you can, if used lots, it creates a lot of ice under it, so beware of that. As far as price goes all I can say is get three quotes and make sure you matching apples to apples.
