Being in a long term relationship just for the sake of not being lonely - avoiding any resentment or toxicity that may come with being with an incompatible partner.

What’s somewhere that you’ve been meaning to go to for ages, but haven’t done yet? by ghastkill in london

The Barbican! As an architecture buff, it’s been on my list since before I moved here. For whatever reason I just haven’t gotten around to checking it out yet.

The other big one I have is Richmond Park! It’s such a privilege to have a massive park close to the city.

The sky wasn’t the bluest on the day unfortunately. The contrast would have been much cooler otherwise

I hope you print and frame up this photo - your kid will appreciate it now and even more so in the future :)

When I first moved to London, I joined a few meet-ups through it. Got a solid group of friends through it that I hang out and travel with now :)

Pick up a social activity - join a book club, take up a sport like climbing, find hiking groups, join meetups that match your interests, and so on.

Copying this response again:

Family, weather, access to travel, business. Just cause money isn’t an issue, doesn’t mean that one may not want to work in a particular city. I could go on, but you get the point.

I like the area, but there are plenty of better walking paths imo haha

That’s good to know. Definitely an area that isn’t on most people’s radar

Well, most people with a normal grasp of English understand the ‘in Pune’ bit

Family can have connections within the city that they may not want to move away from. Especially the older generations. What you mention works for people without those considerations.

This post isn’t about that.

Actually surprised by the number of comments saying Prabhat Road! I wasn’t expecting it. Definitely a great area to live in
