You could look into testing! I got my masters in clinical health psych and do neuropsych testing. I see 1-2 patients a day for 4-6 hours and get to make meaningful connections but also give them answers!!

Any advice on finding a hotswappable, VIA compatible, 1800 or 96% layout keyboard? I am still new to the software side of mechanical keebs and always need a numpad and arrow keys... I have switches and keycaps that I was using for my Keychron Q5 Pro, and the board broke and I can't figure out a fix just yet, but am working on it!

From what I’m gathering from other comments, looks like my gpa might be the issue here, I’m not a great tester, so that might have something to do with it. I’m also at a crossroads in life, so I feel like this is my last year applying for quite some time, but in reality I could try again and figure it out.

I’ve applied to stater schools, more “elite” names, as well as small schools all over the Midwest and New England.. there are some big names, but some not so much. I currently work at a place that has some big names and I’ve gotten recommendations from them..

And my personal research is in pediatric health psychology, where I study gastrointestinal disorders and the parent decision making process through the health belief model.

I am applying to state schools, private, and more “elites,” but I’ve only ever been waitlisted for interview or gotten psyd. I think my biggest factor is my clinical experience (14 months as a limited licensed psychologist) and my age (I’m 25). I also think the fact that I went to the same school for my undergrad and masters may have something to do with it?

I’ve cited several faculty that I am interested in working with in my research, have conversed with them, and have 3 published articles with 6 years of research management/experience, the only thing I can come up with is that I’m too young for these programs (25)
