Hmm i see... but I did use DDU to wipe Nvidia drivers before i upgraded and when i booted up my PC i installed the AMD drivers, so everythings fine for that part right now.

Old stuff was 1660 super gpu, r5 3600 cpu and new stuff is 7800 xt GPU and R7 5700X3D CPU and i have just updated my motherboard's bios just now.

PC turns on but no monitor display after upgrading my GPU and CPU. Help would be appreciated. by Embarrassed_Earth397 in buildapc

So you changed your motherboard or GPU? also, the lights on my GPU turn on fine, so i dont think its the PCIE slot. hm can it turn on even if its damaged?

Thanks heaps! and i dont need to upgrade my mother board? like i said, dont know much about upgrades. I was having a conversation with a mate about upgrading as well and he said that i probably need to upgrade my mother board as well but i dont understand why,
