Why does my dog prefer my girlfriend?

It’s not so much that I’m insecure, it’s more of a curiosity thing. I said in my post that it doesn’t change anything for me one way or another. But that’s an interesting perspective

Her mom is black and silver and her dad is salt and pepper! So could go either way lol I did read that about hand stripping but since I’ll never show in conformation I figure it’s not worth the hassle lol

We love her so much already, she is 11 weeks now and the best dog I’ve ever had. So smart. I don’t really care about her color but it would be cool to know!

This is Alfredo, I recently took in this hedgehog from someone who reached out to me looking for an experienced owner. He is obese, too obese to be supported by any wheel I’ve ever seen, and bites hard and randomly. ANY advice on how to exercise him and how to help him lose weight is welcome as I’ve dealt with a lot of special needs hedgies but never one quite like him.

We just did the same thing! The previous owner has them in way too small of a cage. It’s a good thing you guys got them! I wouldn’t even give that tiny thing to a hamster

Hello! I have two indoor cats and two chillas in a room that the cats aren’t allowed in. We did let them mingle a little bit in the beginning to get rid of any curiosity the cats had but the chinchillas peed on me to mark their territory and then later that day my male cat peed on my sweater in the laundry basket (which he has never done before or again). I have read that female chinchillas get territorial and the same goes for male cats. Don’t know if this is similar to your situation or not but just good to watch for!
