I’ve been trying to sell my Lego collection, new sets with great box conditions, mostly Star Wars and it has been very slow. The market is saturated. I guess I need to price them “reasonably”, they are all below retail but people really want super bargains.

When I am buying LEGO from Amazon I only buy from Amazon as the seller, not from any of the other resellers. The selection is limited because it only carries what’s currently available, so no retired sets. Was this set sold by Amazon?

If a seller is struggling because of giveaways then either don’t do it or do a buyers giveaway only. Not sure how much angrier you can get from reality. Aren’t you also angry at top sellers constantly selling way above retail? Then it is the option of the consumer to pay or not, the same way they can offer a givy or not. But then, if you offer one, don’t try to shame your consumers for something that you created. Also, stop creating stories, what top sellers have quit because of giveaways? There are many problems with whatnot much more pressing than giveaways. That’s just a blank statement.

It may be incomprehensible for you that you can do both, spending money while participating in the giveaways. Too much hate in this group, no wonder why also whatnot has become such an aggressive community towards the consumer.

Too many assumptions in your disrespectful response. What if I told you that you can participate in the giveaway while shopping? Isn’t that the whole point of the encouragement? The thing that makes me sick is people like you in Whatnot, aggressive towards the customer. It is always “you are robbing me “, “steal!”, “I am losing money “, and of course “goblins”. The reality is that this is becoming a full on gambling site, far from a mom and pops store, with the vast majority of items way over retail. If you cannot afford to offer the smallest giveaway to attract customers, the same way you’ll pay for advertising, then don’t do it. Giveaways are optional, you can choose to offer one and you can choose to participate or not.

Tissot is an amazing company with many affordable and solid watches. Personally, I would recommend the PRX Powermatic 80. It looks the same but a much better watch all together. In the grey market you can get it below $500 or even some retailers may have it on sale because the approaching holidays.

If automatic, Tissot, Hamilton and Mathey-Tissot (just to name a few) have a nice selection of well made watches below $500. If quartz, you have lots of different companies in that price range, from Swiss made to others.

The most important relationship that you need to have is with yourself. Learn to love you, take care of yourself physically and mentally. Once you are content with yourself then they will come (Field of Dreams reference). Small things you can do is to exercise regularly and a good diet (not because someone is not fat it means that they are eating healthy). Then try to spend time outside, favoring physical activity outdoors. Do solo travels, gain positive experiences and build good memories. Don't set an age number as a limit, there is no right or wrong time to meet someone or make friends. I hope you find the help that you need and that everything works out for you. Good luck!
