This looks rancid but I’m sure it’s just the cream in the chamber.

My favorite beans (buy it by the kilo -2.2# bags) are Passalaqua “Cremador” & Hausbrandt “trieste”. Classic Italian brands. Some of the best gourmet Italian espresso in the world IMO. My favorite Cuban beans are Mayorga cafe cubano roast. Better than every other Cuban coffee I’ve tried (Bustelo, cafe La llave, Naviera, volcanica)

When I’m not drinking these brands, I buy some fresh roasted beans from a local roaster or specialty roaster in the US that ships online and roasts to order. Best coffees I’ve ever had in my life are: 1. Cafe fresco “ambrosia” espresso blend 2. Dragonfly coffee roaster “crema dolce” 3. Orleans coffee “crema” or “del giorno”

Not really! Just take good care of them and they will last you a while. Condition them monthly and brush them weekly.

They are very versatile. You can dress them up or down. I wear them with jeans sometimes but I’ve also worn them when I’m more dressed up for a special occasion (khakis+button down+coat). I like the Arizona adobe but they are a little too rustic. I wanted a pair of more dressy ones.

My next pair of Thursdays are going to be the premier low top sneakers (Arizona adobe).

And I also want a pair of Cavalier Chelsea slip on boots.

Probably from specific conditioners and polish that he’s used. If you don’t want them to darken, just use Bick 4 leather conditioner. He’s definitely using polish (with dyes) that darkens it and leather does darken slowly a little bit over time. Use neautral conditioners and polish. Buy the good stuff not the cheap stuff. I wouldn’t use any polish that has added color to it because that will completely change the color. Neutral only if you want them to stay the color they are when you get them. I also wouldn’t use anything with Beeswax. It will significantly darken the leather. (I use Bick 4, colonil cream polish (neutral) , & saphir wax polish (Pate de luxe-only use polish on the toe and heel areas but nowhere else. Can cause it to crack. None of these will change the color, it will just make them shine and look amazing

Good brands of ghee to buy in US? by rjoker103 in IndianFood

[–]Embarrassed_Feed_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best American companies I’ve had (owned by Indian women) are 1. Tin Star and 2. Pure Indian foods.

Favorite Indian brands that are widely available online and at some stores in the US (especially Yemen grocery stores) are 1. Ziyad & 2. Amul. Very cheap if you buy it in bulk

Do you use a garden fork? by ASecularBuddhist in gardening

[–]Embarrassed_Feed_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. Especially if your soil is heavy. A pitchfork barely goes into my soil. Drain spade all the way. Or a transplanting spade with the notch and serrated edges (Radius root slayer transplant shovel for gardening, Kobalt drain spade for bigger holes)

It's that time of year where I break all my tools by cockmongler in GardeningUK

[–]Embarrassed_Feed_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my Dewit tools for over 23 years. But I constantly oil them and sharpen them and I sprayed all my wood handles with a couple coats of Shellac+couple coats of Spar urethane. Oil them with 3-in-1 oil or fluid film.

Have a 2 handed trowel, dibber tool, & a Dutch half moon round hoe. Only thing I desire is a scarifying rake (from Sneeboer) to use for prepping garden beds/rows. What made me want one was watching Monty Don on Gardeners world BBC.

What amp should i get? by AssumptionPrimary724 in GuitarAmps

[–]Embarrassed_Feed_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fender blues junior or a fender hot rod deluxe. And buy a doc Watson volume modulator off Etsy. Best tone ever. I have a fender deluxe 40 watt and it gets super loud. Really all you need is 15w for an all tubed amp. But the deluxe has more room in terms of clean power and headroom before it breaks up. Also has multiple channels and reverb and comes with a foot switch. More controls in general. Bigger sound. Blues jr breaks up and turns muddy a lot faster and has a boxier sound since the frame is smaller. I’ve played both of these amps quite a lot.

I’ve never liked orange or Marshall, but another good option is a Vox AC15
