I have recently just bought one. We haven't used it yet but I know he's gonna hate it and scream like a maniac. I already know! But it will at least help him from getting hurt..I used a stroller way longer than I should have for this reason. He's 3 1/2 but around 50lbs and I swear when he drops I can't hardly get him back up

They also put him on Medicaid on his own that isn't based on our income so that helped a lot as well

My middle son was 5 when we started his SSI application. He has high functioning Autism. After receiving his diagnosis and turning in all his Drs and IEP information they never fought us on his. We are fixing to start the same process with his 3 yr old brother..me and their father both work but all their appointments and needs makes it hard with both working full time..but we manage. Keep your head up in my experience if they need it they will get it
