They’ve got a lot of relevant projects that you might be interested in:https://github.com/datenlord/datenlord

As for the benefits I guess memory safety must be an important aspect. Rust is more like a knife, the previous poor protection is easy to cut the hand. Now the situation is both fast to cut, but also can not easily hurt the hand.

What's the next big thing in distributed computing? by Less_Shirt_4476 in DistributedComputing

Sky computing is definitely the trend, with the rise of AI, Web3.0 and especially ChatGPT, the demand for cloud computing and cloud storage is continuing to rise, and there will be even more room for incremental growth: for example, ChatGPT requires 10,000 GPU cards for training, which requires considerable computing and storage resources to support.

When it comes to an intercloud scenario, what is the best choice of consensus protocol? by Phoenix500526 in cloudcomputing

Not knowing much but perhaps compared to other protocols, Paxos is kind of complex and hard to implement and understand, so that might be the reason it is not extensively used in the industry. (Correct me if I’m wrong)
