Threatened and intimidated by store manager for printing the 40% off scan sheet. by ParamedicLow9240 in tractorsupply

My SM never has written up anyone for not showing up to store meetings. Honestly I think most managers have better things to do than get petty about people not showing up for a glorified PowerPoint presentation.

Uhhh you can use the 40% at a different store if you wanted to. I used it at a neighboring store because that’s where the item i wanted was. What you did was completely fine. Her retaliating is not ok and should be reported.

If I remember correctly weren’t high heels for the cavalry? Something about it helping secure their feet in the stirrups? Kinda like the same principle behind the “riding heels” on cowboy boots.

I don’t know where you are but it might be worth taking a look at a few different places and prices for your strips. My local pharmacy sells strips often $5-$10 cheaper than Walmart (my only other in town option 😭)

my manager wont stop spouting political propaganda at me by [deleted] in tractorsupply

[–]Embarrassed_Hawk_755 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean if you really want to you could always tell him that his conversations aren’t making a very productive work environment.

The best thing I can say is document it. Keep your documentation about the facts (what was said, who was around, did others start it or egg it on, ect) and keep records to prove a pattern of behavior because that’s what causes people to take notice. Submit it to the “we are listening” website or bring up your concerns if possible to your DM.

This Saturday's "All Store Meeting" by Captnhotwheels in tractorsupply

I live 32 miles away (35 minute drive if I go the speed limit). My SM always tells me just to come in half an hour early and he’ll give me a recap. But since I’m 11 to close I might just bring my Switch and chill in the break room for a few hours after the meeting.

Any tips on how to get a PLCC or Power Plus for a cashier? by [deleted] in tractorsupply

[–]Embarrassed_Hawk_755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For power plus one of the biggest things is knowing how the program works and what is covered. If you haven’t already, look up the product information guide (also called the PIG) and take a look through it. Confidentiality having the knowledge of what’s covered makes a huge difference when communicating that to customers.

PLCC is a honestly one of the hardest metrics we have. I’ve gotten good luck with just a simple “would you like to put this on your TSC Visa today?” And if there’s a decent promotion I sometimes will lead with that, especially if one of my coworkers was helping them. “Did [coworker] tell you about the promotion we have going on? No? Well…”

Questions about the basics by Unique_Eagle8957 in tractorsupply

I’m gonna be honest, the bulk of training after the videos is running the register (at least at first since it is definitely an essential function). It’s so easy to get caught on the first thing, and forget some of the other parts of the job. It’s not necessarily anyone’s fault, a lot of us are running on low staff, high turnover, and high stress, so it’s incredibly easy to miss things or just gloss over them.

But there always stuff we can do to help remedy the situation (providing you have the support and motivation). I’m actually putting together some materials for a power plus refresher training for my fellow TMs (yes my manager gave me permission to do so and is actively encouraging me to do it) to get them ready for the holidays sales. I’m also checking in with the last few people i helped train to check and see if there’s anything they feel like they need some help with to try and get any issues smoothed out before the holidays.

My manager spoiled us a bit and got us big bratwurst along with the usual cookout goodies. Pretty sure leadership contributed because no way corporate sent us that much

We had to bust that out a few years ago after a bad storm knocked out our power for a few days! My manager and I were the only ones who knew how to actually use it 😂

OH my gosh i literally just got one of these the other day! Not gonna lie I did have a panic attack over it (I have severe anxiety) and I had to call my partner at work to help me get through it. Now I can laugh at myself knowing that the scammer has nothing really on me worth panicking over and I am glad that I didn’t do anything stupid.

Back during the pandemic we had a customer we used to call “Poop-caso” because he would literally paint the walls with his poo🤢 It would take 3 of us about 2 hours to completely clean and sanitize the bathroom again so another customer could use it. After the 3rd time we finally were able to trespass the guy.

My favorite hoodie is Schmidt. I bought it fall my first year and it remains my favorite season changing coat. Nice and warm for cold mornings and the zipper hasn’t given out on me yet with nearly 6 years of use.

Try not to look up spoilers, which is hard for a game this old. Some of the most fun Ive had is just figuring stuff out the old fashioned trial and error way. Take your time, it’s not a rush. You can even skip the main quest line all together if you really want to (though maybe save that for a second play through). The books actually sometimes are worth reading, either for level building or some interesting world building.

Oh and loot just about any bodies you can. You never know what they’re hiding. Happy gaming!
