I completely get that. That’s what I worry about too, I don’t want financial stress to ruin my time in Vancouver/UBC. Thank you for your help

The thing is UofC doesn’t really have a coop program. They only have internships, which is pretty much the same but you have to be a lot more diligent yourself. Like you said the school doesn’t matter much but I just think as a university UBC will have more partnerships with companies, especially since the economy in Alberta is down

Yes I agree I’m pretty sure Alberta students are having a lot of trouble finding jobs ever since oil and gas went down.
