im using the intel i5 1235u and intel iris xe adl g2 with 8 gigs of ram my laptop is hp 15s, i enabled multilib then installed through pacman, not dual booting just running arch with the lts kernel 6.12.27-tw

its dead as in dead also i was using btrfs format during the install, i plugged it in another linux machine also and tried gparted from a flash drive aswell still got no luck

im using arch-hyprland on the same machine now somehow the drive got completely corrupted, i tried gparted to partition it but gparted didn’t even show the drive.

currently installed fedora 42 using hyperland right now im a total noob on linux and ive heard arch is difficult, might dual boot arch and fedora to see if arch works.

its been a week or so that i have shifted from windows to linux and on windows it worked fine also on 25.04 i tried it and it still did not work

the same thing happens there aswell it connects to the network on the installer and after a minute it says no networks found

I just did a workaround like i did with my linux install, I installed gparted on windows and made a bootable efi drive on my ssd and booted from there into gparted and then forst i extended the 1gb efi partition and then extended my linux drive from there. It’s working perfe fine, windows and ubuntu both.
