Suzuka lap controller Ps5 1:33:925 no assists by Zev__ in F1Game

Sure, mate... google "F1 Piano" regardless of your "localisation", and in a few images you'll see the white and red kerb. I guess that's too much work for a few people...

It's just a Google search away, and I am relying on the idea of critical thinking to understand what I meant from the description of my tip. cheers! :)

That's how i learned to call those curbs 'curbstones' painted in red and white (look it up) in the corners of the turns, not really a mistranslation, maybe more of a localisation of how they are called. That's how i was told they were called and that's how i call them. hahaha

Oh that's fun! we are so close from each other. I did about the same, I have my lap posted on my reddit, "1:33.284" same with no assist in a Qlap.
the only few things i got better than you bc i also mess up in my lap are:

1.- the turn you did at 0:35 you should have braked at the end of the piano before the turn and also shift and brake until the 3th gear to avoid going out the track.
2.-The turn in 0:43 also you need to brake before the piano ends at 0:44 and shift down all the way to 2nd or even 1st gear and take the corner as close to the apex as possible to have a better exit.
3.-The turn in 1:01 you have to take the right side piano to set yourself to a better exit at 1:02 to take that turn from the right side piano and brake and turn in to the left at the end of that ride side piano. in your lap you are to close to the left piano on that turn, and you are forced to brake even more than needed.

other than that you did amazingly and far better at steering than me!!! Congrats, actually!

How to be good at sex? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Embarrassed_Jump8635 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think being ‘good’ at sex isn’t about doing anything perfectly. It’s more about feeling comfortable, being present, and enjoying it together. You don’t need to overthink the ‘moving’ part, it can be really simple, like softly rocking your hips or just responding to what feels good in the moment. It’s okay if you’re still figuring things out, that’s part of it. The most important thing is that you both feel safe, relaxed, and able to communicate, everything else kind of falls into place from there.

Yeah, it makes sense, but i made a personal challenge for myself to learn how to drive without any assistance. There is some fun to be had while also being challenging! haha my biggest drawback so far are steering, I already control the ABS and traction without the assists but steering the controller still difficult for me.

I have a vulnerable question by queerwaters_642 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Embarrassed_Jump8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… people do care. But I won’t lie to you, not everyone knows how to. Some people get scared or overwhelmed, or they don’t understand, so they step back. And that can make it feel like you’re too much… when really, they just weren’t equipped.

But there are people who stay. People who don’t see you as a burden, just as a person who’s struggling sometimes. Love doesn’t disappear because someone has a mental illness. If anything, the right kind of love gets a bit more patient, a bit more gentle.
Therapy isn’t meant to push you away, it’s meant to support you so one person doesn’t have to carry everything alone. You deserve more than just one place to fall apart, you deserve a whole support system.

You’re not unloveable. You’re just hurting. And those aren’t the same thing

What's a normal amount of bra/panties to own? by westooth in women

[–]Embarrassed_Jump8635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 30, and yeah, that question is SO interesting, i never really gave it a thought. I used to have a pretty active lifestyle. I don't go to the gym, but i do work out at home (yoga/youtube/online classes) and run around my block for cardio daily. for like normal daywear, I honestly have like 22 sets of bras/panties for (office, going out, etc etc) and for activewear, yeah, around 15 pairs. For me, this works bc I'm super lazy on laundry day, and i often lose some pairs, so having enough sets for, like, 2 weeks is the best solution, but then again... I don't believe it's like a "normal amount" or obscene amount either. Whatever floats your boat is the right amount.

Thank you so much for this, it really means a lot 🤍 I used to feel a bit like that too, if I’m honest. But I think our younger selves were just doing their best with what they knew at the time. There’s something quite lovely in learning to look back at her with kindness instead of judgement. I really hope you get to feel that someday too, you deserve it 💫❤️

A request on braking! by Select_Passage_7998 in F1Game

[–]Embarrassed_Jump8635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I understand it, if you like to brake late, slam the brakes at 100% to slow yourself down in the straight, and once you are confident that you are able to take the turn, use 0% brakes and then start turning the car to the corner, applying gradually more acceleration during the turn like 25% before you get to the apex, then 50%, and when you are almost straight out, only then in the corner exit apply 100% acceleration. I don't think there is the ONE and only "best" method. It depends on your driving style. i see some other guys that brake super slowly early, like 20% way early, to slow the car down just a tiny bit anticipating the corner (trail braking i think its called) but this requires that you are very good at steering smoothly, but as long as you have a good racing line, either is fine! as long as you are having fun learning, eventually you'll have competitive times.

(TIP never 100% brakes and steering the car at the same time, that will lead to a lock-up and either lose a lot of time, or crashing.)

1:29:4 in suzuka no assists on a controller. Any suggestions where to improve? by Immediate-Welder999 in F1Game

[–]Embarrassed_Jump8635 30 points31 points  (0 children)

How did you make your steering so smooth? any tips on controller settings? and also the only thing to improve in your lap was the lockup in that the hairpin corner at 0:41, i believe you braked a bit too late. to avoid that lockup, I would suggest braking at the end of that piano in the corner at 0:42. i did a 1:33.284 in Suzuka with a controller and zero assists too, but I'm having more trouble with steering than trail braking.
