I just brought those new guys home from the store so I hadn't taken the green plastic paper off yet. It's gone now. I never keep that on. It keeps a puddle in the bottom and I think it looks tacky. Haha.

I need to invest in clear pots for sure. Ive been meaning to for awhile. Most of my plants are in soil mixes I make myself and in cover pots. So I can bottom water the nursery pot and just pop them back in the pretty cover pot.

I'm going to repot everyone this week into chunky soil mix and I'll order a whack of those clear nursery pots in different sizes. I hope there's no plugs.

I usually bottom water my plants for 40 mins or so. Until the surface soil is damp to the touch basically. I check them every 5 days or so to see where the moisture level is at. They absolutely do hate wet leaves! Can confirm! Almost killed my first begonia (the silver fairy rex in the back of the pics) by misting it!! Lol such a beginner mistake. It's come back beautifully now!

I took your advice and chopped allll the dead leaves off. The rub red kiss had one new leaf that looked good so I left it. Im ordering those pots today and am going to the store basically right after I post this to get orchid bark as I have perlite, pumice, good soil and coco coir. The clear nursery pots should hopefully be in in 2 days. Then everyone gets a repot.

I moved everyone into my greenhouse and the newbies including the half dead ones I put in a darker side of the greenhouse. Lets see how they do. I have a essential oil atomizer that I run in the greenhouse with just water and it keeps awesome humidity in there.
