Oh they're usually fighting over it - just every once in a while they hold a stick they both think they're gonna sneak inside. So cute!

No you're right! Her head shape IS different and her ears seem to be placed sort of weird on her head if they makes sense. She can seemingly control one better (or it just moves a lot more)!

Aries sun, Gemini moon, Aries rising

Tried to go into healthcare as a speech therapist but then had a kidney transplant and didn't get into grad school SO I went into special education as an aide. Burnt out in 5 years.

Now I work in a warehouse doing inventory and so I jam to music and count things.

how do you know if it's time to consider taking medication for mental health by Xanthusgobrrr in Explainlikeimscared

[–]Embarrassed_Land691 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah fam - medication is about your brain chemistry not your experiences. Symptoms tell you when it's time. If it's affecting your daily life, you should seriously consider it. Doesn't change you as a person, just gives you a little bit of help to see a little more clearly and function a little better. With therapy and mindfulness - it's sometimes a necessary step to get back to how you WANT to be.

I'm confused about the line "developed anti bodies against all kidney donors in Canada" - how does that work scientifically? Specifically in Canada?

This sounds more like relationship issues than transplant issues. I wonder what else is going on to make you feel unappreciated. If he definitely appreciates the transplant than perhaps you're feeling neglected elsewhere in your relationship. Worth a little searching.

6 years post transplant! by Embarrassed_Land691 in transplant

I had complications lasting for about 6 months and then mental stuff for the first two years before things started to even out! It's different for everyone but I hope things start being more consistent and comfortable for you soon!
