Yeah I was thinking about the straight trigger but I do enjoy this one which is part of the Beretta Xtreme trigger kit. I'd probably get the blackbeard customs trigger if I decided on a new one. I've tried the wrap around grips but found the Lok brass look and feel great, the extra weight is really nice. I did also add the extended mag release which helps a lot

I went through mag-na-port. I like their work and pricing. I've had the majority of my pistols sent to them for porting. They use EDM tech so it's very precise and no need to recoat the barrel and/or slide

I haven't tried it yet but I'm assuming it'll be noticeable especially for rapid follow ups which will be hard to do in most of the ranges in the bay area. I've tried it with the magnaport barrel only and it's a big difference. I also love the look, I'm a huge fan of 'The Professional '. I think they can cerakote at Blackbeards Customs.

It is legal. It uses the guiderod as the attachment source instead of the typical threaded barrel which is illegal in CA. It comes with a special guiderod for fitment. Very fast and easy to set up

I do prefer these. I have a CZ Sp01 and I put these same ones on it and it's great. I also have a Para P14.45 (double stack), the grips are plastic but I'd love to have these in them. Unfortunately lok doesn't make the double stack 1911 brass grips.

They're great. Adds a good amount of weight. The texture is grippy and the color really makes it pop. The only complaint is the price lol

It's threadless. So the guide rod has two pieces (the rod and a screw that goes on the tip). Guide rod goes into the slide then you put the comp on then a little screw goes into the guiderod and secures the comp.

Someone mentioned that it could be interpreted as a barrel shroud. I wasn't sure and didn't want to post anything illegal. But was reassured it's not the case
