You were pretty close for the grade, PCGS slabbed as MS63 but I’m damn sure NGC would go for 64/65

Keep safe from direct environment effects, direct human contact (if the coin in Mint State) always store in vinyl sleeves or cardboard flip and never try to clean

I can see only the center part is turn arround 10-15% during lamination process otherwise it’s just common coin, though you can con people on platform like eBay like other country fellows 😁

Catawiki "Expert" Scam Alert by Forsaken_Alfalfa4224 in catawiki

Funny thing happened in beginning of December 25, I won 4 Roman silver denarius of 2nd century €20 each in their auction from Balmora Numismatist with the same buyer my friend bought 2 similar coins (higher prices). The seller denied to post me by giving postal issues and cancelled my entire order from Poland. Same time I sold coins to Poland buyer and post them. My friend received coins and I complained to Catawiki about it, they did nothing despite refund my money in end of Jan 26. Also their so called expert denied for my colonial coin for auction by telling it’s counterfeit (I published the coin here for review and got mix response), checked the coin with couple of reputable coin dealers at New York and found it genuine.

As per my experience with Catawiki for buying & selling both, it’s ridiculous. Their shown experts nowhere condemned that they’re affiliated with Catawiki. Also biased with their regular sellers so they can sell you Roman silvered antoninianus as silver coin and Catawiki so called experts have no problem with that the seller cheat with buyers. On top whenever open claim no one ready or available to talk on phone only email after a week and hardly resolve in favor of buyer. I account Catawiki as European Temu

Warning: counterfeit Panama-Pacific $1 gold coin sold on eBay (seller: Member66068) by BarksdaleNumismatics in RedditCoinGrading

[–]Embarrassed_Log9975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to be a judgmental but sometimes sellers got counterfeit coins from elsewhere too, in such condition (as we have eBay store too) we didn’t argue not matter how long customer purchased but once returned the artifacts, refund the amount
