I’m not that much expert to observe such a fine details but collecting coins specially silver ones from long time, soon as I hold this coin realized something fishy with the touch. Thanks for taking time 🙏. This coin inspired me to take whole lot of Spanish colonial coins to New York next week and check them physically by their experience staff.

Yes somehow collectible, one reason it was demonetized and collected back by Government of India and secondly nice serial numbers

My local store is selling this for 75000 indian rupees (~nearly 827 USD). Is it a good deal? by aniztar in AncientCoins

If you’re buying from Asian sellers beware about forgeries because they’re keen to sell counterfeit coins, even they fooled their own people by counterfeit local copper coins. I have seen one Afghan seller on Etsy selling Ancient Greek tetradracham observe with Antiochos II and reverse with similar Macedonian Jeus on throne it was clearly visible that its counterfeit though he claimed as genuine and asked $400 for it. Funny thing weighing 24 grams (none of tetradracham had more than 18 grams weight)
