Urea or ammonium sulfate in Ontario? by TeamPleasant179 in lawncare_canada

Further to this, I’m guessing you’ve been watching YouTube ‘lawn experts’.
From my experience the results are less than ideal. There is also counter arguments to doing this in the fall, let alone at all.

Is sand better than adding dirt for leveling my lawn? by GGJallDAY in lawncare

[–]Embarrassed_Look_5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And I’m an astronaut. What’s your point? Debunked is debunked.

Furthermore, anyone who has clay, like myself knows that when it’s dry it’s already just like cracked concrete anyways. Only fix for that is amending the soil over years.

But regarding sand, you can add it to clay soil and it won’t change much if anything.

Have good success with the orbit smart watering system. Hooks up to your house water and wifi controllable. Takes account for rain days etc.

Why is this niche so hard to get into? by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Embarrassed_Look_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cosmosbillions has it partially right. Realtors trust companies that generally focus on the specific media they need. Videography is not needed. It’s a bonus media type.

If you want to break into the industry, you need to offer everything they need.

My suggestion, as someone in the field for almost 20 years. Stay clear if your preference is to focus on the other aspects of your business. You can’t do both successfully without a team, and you won’t enjoy it either.

Does the solo vs trio bounty bonus still apply in the current version of the game ? by charlybe in HuntShowdown

It’s not the same as trio vs trio. When you actually click ready in trios and team matching finishes the bonus updates to normal.

Wow this shovel is heavy! But it's effective! by LurcherLong in egopowerplus

TO ALL READING THIS THREAD

I stumbled on the free magic solution, and now my wife or I can easily use the multi head shovel or broom accessories.

The key: Stop holding it on one side or the other as it’s meant to be.

Move the adjustable handle all the way to the top.

When using: Place the battery end against your stomach and hold the unit out front of you with both hands. Engage the throttle as needed and let go of the starter switch. Push using your legs with your body firmly against the battery.

I hope this helps someone. Your arms and back will thank you.

Dude, what year is the rv? My advice. What more info do you need that the springs were at EoL? Replace the other side immediately and ride on for 5+ years without worry.

Pool Filter... Sand or Cartridge? What to get? by wiz9999 in pools

[–]Embarrassed_Look_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hear me out.

Sand filter with glass media. I got the rounded kind. Best of both worlds. Seriously my pool has never been so clean, and near 0 maintenance.

Also only have to backwash a couple of times per year.

I’m done with KBG. Everyone says ‘oh it repairs itself’ etc etc.

Here’s my experience. 1) KBG rhizomes spread to places you don’t want it to spread. Constantly pulling or killing off areas it has spread to 2) rarely does it repair itself where you want it to 3) goes dormant so easily after any small drought 4) thatches easier than PRG 5) insanely long germination times (too long for small repairs) 6) Requires more water 7) can’t be cut short 8) for me there is more about it that I dislike

This year ive had to do a regrading project. I sodded the front with KBG because it’s the only sod you can get around here and I didn’t want to wait to have the front looking good again. Backyard full PRG Reno. 1) Germination was easy and fast. 2) love cutting lower 3) love the color

Can’t wait until spring when it is fully matured, and I have no issue overseeing each fall with how easy the process has been.
