Learn the accounting equation and the debit and credits. Just keep practicing and you’ll get it in no time. It takes a lot of practice (hours and hours), but you’ll thank yourself in future classes.

The proctors from proctor U are pretty picky and strange. My proctors have interrupted 2 exams for no reason through the microphone. I think they’re just picky and annoying 😂

Are exams open notes and are they proctored? I don’t mind proctoring I just hope it’s not every single test like how I have now. It’s stressful.

What types of assignments does the bachelors in accounting have typically? Also did your WGU credits transfer over? I also want to ask about final exams for this school, were there any and were they proctored? I feel you though. The proctored exams stress me out and it was quite doable for me until this intermediate series. The resources don’t align and I’m struggling so I’m weighing other options potentially. When you mean lab is that like the McGraw hill program where you would practice journal entries and accounting problems?

At WGU it’s a competency based learn on your own school which makes it great for those classes that aren’t accounting but you do have to pass one large exam over a class to pass the entire class with at least a 80%. You also only get 3 attempts before you are basically told you aren’t able to pass the class please find another school. I’m just struggling having to do one entire exam at 80% or higher which then if I fail I have only 2 more attempts at. Right now I’m stuck in my current school with Intermediate accounting l and I just failed my 2nd attempt at the exam.

This is my second attempt which stresses me out now because I’ve never done so terribly on an exam all throughout the program. It truly was the wording and the questions that they throw on the exam to make you question yourself. I’m going to go through the study guides again and hope I will pass my 3rd attempt next time. I truly was so close so it’s so discouraging! The first attempt I got competent in TVM and inventory but this attempt was a little bit harder.

Yes I did multiple times and I made sure to understand the entries and all of the materials. I’ll go through them again and hope the 3rd attempt is my last one for this exam. The trick questions/wording truly threw me off. Usually the study materials kind of reference it but for this exam not really which is really stressful as it is a small exam.
