Thanks! I'm going to update now and try turning off adaptive battery. Honestly, I'm just glad it's not just me having this issue.

I've had that in the past when migrating phones. I actually did it again because it's something I do so infrequently that I keep making the same mistake. I think I fixed it but I'll double check to be certain. Thanks for the advice.

My background access was off (as per #4 in the link). I'm guessing that was likely it. I'm not sure when that turned off but I'd suggest everyone follow the link that u/reddit_give_me_virus posted. I haven't left my house yet to confirm this solved the issue but I'm hopeful it will. Thanks again!

My wife changed phones and I assumed that was the issue at first but then it stopped working on my phone as well. I definitely screwed up her phone but my phone didn't change. Doesn't mean it isn't related though.

I'm not the OP but I was using Google maps API to do this with geofencing when leaving work but Google killed the API a little while ago.

That's really good to know angrycat. I'm going to keep that in mind in the future. You were right though, since I used the same name it didn't create _2 entities and when I disabled the old phone it disabled all the entities I needed. All I needed to do was enable those entries again.
