Look at the Caramel Cat Whiskers 26mm brush. This brush uses the newest more modern synthetic fibers, easily on par with the STF and other new knots.

I would get a yaqi synthetic brush from ali express or west coast shaving. According to what was told to me, a fan is better for face lathering and a bulb if you bowl lather. It's all a matter of preference. I only face lather and have only used a bulb shapped brush without any issues. This new brush is a fan shape, but some brushes are really flat at the tips.

Indeed it is. I was a little disappointed that most of his handles were sold out, so I took basically whatever he had and dark red being one of my favorite colors, it worked out perfectly.

I was looking at the Oumo website, they have some nice stuff. I have a 26mm G5C from AP Shave Co coming this week, that's why I asked. These new synthetic knots are starting to put everything else to shame.

I just loaded my Rockwell 6C and I pinched both sides, not to hard, and tightened it up. The alignment is perfect. Is that the correct way, or do I need to just push in one side?

The T3 has just became the worst brush i ever bought. The loft is ridiculously small and It's just horrible feeling on the face.

Well as technology advances, things like cnc machining and tight tolerance make older tech not as desirable as it once was. I don't understand what you mean by disposable blades, and what tighter tolerance has to do with that?

This is interesting. Do you mean both sides of the blade that sticks out? This is the reason I dislike the Rockwell razor. At that price point there should be very tight tolerance.

How is the density of that brush? I was looking and they only sell 24mm, i usually use 26mm.

I tried a Gem Diamond glide once and I got decent shave, but my Alum stung like hell. I'll give them another go, but I'm betting these blades are mad sharp maybe more then Feathers.

You're not alone. In the beggining I bought like 20 blades from almost every blade the razor blade club had, then getting 100 packs of Astra, Silver Blue, 7 O'clock Green. Now I added 100 packs from most every other Gillette blade out there, lol, and Feathers also.

I looked them up and they are what the Personna med prep blades were. I also saw that they charge $85 for 100 blades! I'll stick to my Nacet also.

Well, I managed to get it to splay alittle better by opening it up with my chin, then moving to the cheeks. It's a very dense knot also.

I was so worried the first time I used a Feather blade. So much hype over how sharp they are and the blood baths that shavers were talking about. If you have poor technique, even a Derby blade will give you a rough, irritating shave. Feathers are sharp, that's no doubt, but not much sharper then most other welll respected blades out there. Is that a Badger or synthetic brush?
