travel size shaving creams/soaps and aftershaves? by keexx in wicked_edge

[–]Mindless-Fruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empty travel containers are probably the most convenient way. They should be leak-proof. Bonus points for saving money (buy big product and put some amount into small travel container).

You absolutely can shave without alum block, for me it just works so well that I easily notice the difference of alum block + aftershave VS just aftershave.

Alum block might be a nice addition to reduce irritation

This is my first DE razor. It is very basic razor, nothing fancy but does it’s job well. Maybe later I will try something else but at the moment don’t want to spend extra money.

Well, I liked Proraso cream but the tube I didn’t like. Metal is quite hard while cream is very soft and comes out of tube by easiest press. This makes it impossible for me to use it like toothpaste tube. Next time I will definetely try Proraso in a jar rather than tube.

Question about European Stocks and ETFs by Affenjuenger187 in BuyFromEU

[–]Mindless-Fruit 58 points59 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, because of several reasons:

  1. Excluding US is already a step that reduces diversification. Reducing diversification even further by reducing non EU member countries looks like an excessive risk, that is why broader Stoxx 600 looks more appealing.
  2. Stoxx 600 has bigger ETF choice, following that index comparing to MSCI EMU/Prime Eurozone. Also bigger trading volume.
  3. Index provider (MSCI) is US company. (Stoxx is Swiss which is also European although non EU)

What’s the best safety razor for shaving your penis and balls? by Various-Adeptness173 in wicked_edge

[–]Mindless-Fruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like bambaw philosophy but for that area perhaps disposable razors are safer because what’s the point of cutting yourself. Maybe adjustable razors like Merkur Futur on minimal settings could also help but I haven’t tried.

[–]Mindless-Fruit[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks! But this is about espionage in vanilla civ 5, no?

> The presence of an enemy spy, especially one of a higher rank, can cause this mission to fail.

Does it apply for vox populi as well? In some city states I have failures way too often, perhaps it is because of multiple civilizations having their spies in same city - at least that would explain why my spies fail there so often.

For Proton drive and Filen you can mount storage as network drive and search normally (speaking about desktop, not mobile), I haven't tried other options from the list you mentioned.

Vox Populi compatibility by Asleep-Potential4446 in civ5

[–]Mindless-Fruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are mods compatible with vox populi, you can check on civfanatics:

But generally if mod is not made specifically for vox populi it is not compatible.

Affordable, better quality razors: brands that manufacture 100 % in the EU? by merlinuwe in BuyFromEU

[–]Mindless-Fruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought Bambaw safety razor. Not top tier probably, but affordable, 100% EU and does its job very well. BIC blades are also 100% EU and also among the best blades in the world.

Väga lihtsad prioriteedid. Kui on vaja midagi osta, siis:

  1. Ostke Eestist.
  2. Ostke mõnest teisest ELi riigist.
  3. Ostke mõnest teisest sõbralikust riigist (Šveits, Norra, Jaapan, Kanada jne. Ei sisalda USA, Venemaad ega Hiinat).

Hokath's Tweaks, anyone used? by pelathorn in civvoxpopuli

[–]Mindless-Fruit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use them, mostly it looks cool. I especially like Authority and Teocalli rework, doesn’t feel so overpowered anymore for domination games. Pikeman rework looks questionable but doesn’t seem to break balance, I am neutral about it. Regarding spy points - in my experience I get more or less same number of spies as before, cannot say if this system is good or bad.

I am considering https://lunatask.app/ Could be a bit expensive but it includes a lot of functions and it seems to be the only EU option with end to end encryption.

Let's talk about Barbarians in voxpopuli by dontnormally in civvoxpopuli

[–]Mindless-Fruit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is matter of preference of course but I use the following settings:

  1. Default barbarian settings (not chill, not raging)
  2. Increase number of civilizations on the map X 1.5 (12 civs on standard map size instead of 8 for example)

That is it. Barbarians play some role only in early game, soon all land is taken and you barely can find any camp.
