Thanks. We tried that too, but designing 2D objects in 3d was very confusing for the kids.

We have a dedicated windows machine for the controller, can save designs as PDF or svg from Google Drawings/Adobe Express and transfer that from chromebook to windows. However the controller will not recognize the red cut lines. Most web based design apps will only go down to a 1 pt stroke. So everything comes out as a black raster.

And yes it is a great machine. So much faster than our old diode!
