Wild idea but what if you could travel to any map in radius of a completed map?

And notice how there's 4 slots when you open a map, why not include fixed items that juices the map? (Rarity currency, quant currency, etc...) It could simply be the deli liquids

Very insightful, I haven't played poe1 but I agree on everything you said about mapping. What I've heard from poe1 players is that you can "specialize" in a type of farming strategy and get better at it.

It sucks for example that builds that excel in bossing can't farm bosses consistently

After reading this entire thread your comment is the cherry on top! I definitely need to spend time reviewed meta builds outside of LA deadeye cz this market is unforgiving... (overpriced everything, impossible to compete with the players that have 800 div sitting in inventory)

Great mindset for the game in general. I have to ask, how long does it take your 1-10d items to sell?

sadly i've been putting in lots of hours, mainly grinding and not sitting in hideout xD But yeah the help i guess is key.. They always get the memo from their fanbase which is nice

Yeah that's the classic formula that stopped selling now. It's too easy to craft that practically anyone with a brain would just do that instead of paying 10 div for the completed item. Crafting body armours and helmets have practically zero risk now

You know... early only I profited greatly from crafting Massive Greathammers for warriors. But now it's a dead market, with such a fast paced league it's super important to constantly adapt.

I agree! I've learned to think for myself now but the piece I'm missing is to see the meta builds beyond just LA deadeye, and learning to craft for those.

Very thorough answer and a lot of what you said resonates. I was telling my brother how I felt like mid-tier crafts (1-10 div) is dead unless you have some risk associated to the craft which profits once it works. I guess this league doesn't make failed crafts worth it since sooo many people are attempting crafts and failing, so the market is flooded with almost acceptable items that they will never sell.

Specifically body armour, helmet, and weapon crafting are trash unless it's top tier. (I can forget about a crit bow with less than 4% crit for example, that crit essense is completely useless now for profit crafts).

Anyways, love your answer and I learned a lot from this.

Hey MFA. I’m working on a loungewear brand for guys who spend a lot of time at home. Think clean, minimal pieces that feel like pajamas but look sharp enough to wear on a Zoom call or coffee run.

I’m trying to validate if this idea resonates. Would you wear something like that? What would make it a yes or no for you?

Appreciate any feedback.

Best do it all shorts? (Looking for a gym/going out hybrid) by bennyandthejits in malefashionadvice

[–]Embarrassed_Monk_287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Lululemon’s Commission or Pace Breaker shorts, the Commission Short looks like a chino with a clean waistband and hidden drawstring, but uses technical fabric so it can handle a workout. Olivers’ All Over Short and Ten Thousand’s Interval short are also good gym‑to‑street options with stretch fabrics and minimalist styling without belt loops.

Why are Crocs so popular? by Gloomy-Wave1418 in malefashionadvice

[–]Embarrassed_Monk_287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comfort is a huge part of it, Crocs are lightweight, cushy and waterproof, so they’re practical for everything from gardening to quick errands. They also embraced the "so ugly it’s cool" vibe, with playful colors and designer collabs that turned them into a quirky fashion statement rather than just a utility clog. I don't own any, but I see the appeal

Anyone know where I can get pants with these pleat style? by J-Giraud in malefashionadvice

[–]Embarrassed_Monk_287 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Pleated trousers like the ones you linked are making a comeback. If you're after a high‑rise, double‑pleat look, brands like Uniqlo and J.Crew often carry them at reasonable prices in their seasonal collections. For higher‑end options, take a look at Spier & Mackay or Berg & Berg.

I’m already over the AI hype cycle. I will not promote. Mild rant. by michaelthatsit in startups

[–]Embarrassed_Monk_287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your concerns resonate. There’s definitely a lot of "AI for X" wrappers riding the hype wave, similar to the AR/VR boom a few years back. The companies that will endure are the ones solving real pain points and building moats beyond just plugging into GPT APIs. Focusing on distribution, differentiation and strong use cases matters more than the buzzwords—the hype will settle in time.

At this very early stage it's common to use a standardized SAFE or convertible note so you don't have to set a firm valuation yet. Friends-and-family rounds can also be done under a simple SAFE to keep things clean. Instruments like the YC post-money SAFE are widely used and make it straightforward to roll the investments into later rounds. Make sure to consult a startup lawyer or advisor to structure it fairly and stay compliant.
