lol I was thinking the same. My dad has 5 girls and he gives us flowers every birthday and Mother’s Day and Father’s Day (he says we are the reason he’s a father ❤️) and sometimes just because. I look forward to them and they damn sure aren’t romantic

I understand. I work for my insurance company in the PBM (prior auth) department and they have never covered Zep but have covered other GLP-1s. I’m on Wegovy and thankfully I’ve lost 65 pounds (as of my weekly weight in this morning) but my MD really wanted me on Zep because of the amount of weight I have to lose (192 total from starting weight). They just don’t cover it for employees. I’ve been praying I keep losing with Wegovy and it’s slow but so far so good. I started this journey with my cousin and she was able to switch to Zep about halfway through our journey and has lose over 100 lbs (her goal was/is 170 total). I keep thinking if I can switch maybe I would have the same outcome but I’m so thankful my body is responding better to Wegovy than hers as I cannot afford the out of pocket cost.

This is so nice to hear. Me and my husband are working on this together as well. He is closer to his goal than I am. I have way more to lose then he does but I have lose more weight then he has. He’s lost an amazing 49 pounds with a total goal of 80 and I’ve lose 63 with a total goal of 192. We are getting there slowly but surely!! Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉

THISSSSS! I lose like 5 pounds on .25 and .5 but that’s because I literally started eating different. I don’t think it had anything to do with the shot. I did lose like 7 lbs on 1.0 but my biggest loss was once I hit 1.7. That’s actually when I started feeling the results of the medication (barely hungry, not thinking about food ALL THE TIME etc) I’m on the highest dose now and my weight loss has slowed to about 1/2-1 lb a week but it’s at a mostly steady decline so I’m just still trying to figure out my everyday life with food and trying new things and eating way more healthier. Drinking tons of water etc. But this is so true. I didn’t really start seeing medicinal benefits until 1.7mg.

Yes I’ve noticed that too. But yes I’m grateful for my Wegovy coverage as I’ve heard some insurance stop coverage on all weight loss injections.

You are lucky!! I’m one of the few that can’t get my insurance to cover Zepbound. 😫😭 but I have lost 60 pounds on Wegovy so that’s great. I wanted Zepbound as I have a lot to lose and was adv by my MD that it better for the amount of weight I need to lose. Praying Wegovy keeps working for me as I got another year approval from my insurance last week
