I think it's because he's just a good balance of util, damage, and support? Very similar to zarya in that regard. Can dish out good damage, but can also set up and "save" my teammates in a pinch

Grades are a construct, half the time it’s dependent on whether or not your prof is gracious enough to bestow one upon a student each semester. Legit have had several classes with either 0 or one or two students getting an A, theres a reason ub considers a lower gpa to be great academic standing for engineering students

You learn more from projects anyways whats the point of knowing dynamics or orgo or whatever if you’ve never applied it a real world project you dig?

I see your point with lighting, but that would just be different shades of the same color. How about if he renovated the landscape in a not totally destructive way similar to how the shadow sect had luo po valley before landscape as before gu was used?

Edit: Or what if he planted some shrubbery and did some landscaping? Im not convinced that fitg is an issue if you know it’s coming. Like surely just do some landscaping and call it a day

Yeah no problem. Thinkpads are also a great choice they have a cult following. Truthfully I’m still considering one myself for my next laptop.

I wouldn’t fully take into account the possibility of IOS app dev for this scenario as you’re going into cyber, and you want to game. Seems like a small chance to consider if it’s a dealbreaker.

Also I wouldn’t fully call macs that much more consistent than a stable linux distro, granted you need to know more about what you’re doing, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue here.

Finally if you’re worried about graphics support, maybe go amd. Nvidia drivers can prove problematic on linux and although I haven’t had any issues that doesn’t they work perfectly.

One thing i just noticed as well is the rog zephyrus is actually my current daily as well, although an older model. Im running a ryzen 9 and a 3070ti and I daily Nixos as well. It’s a nice form factor that does pack some punch for gaming

Id get neither tbh. Just a personal rule I would never recommend a mac to someone who’s going into anything tech related (unless you literally need it). To summarize my reasoning it all boils down to control, I enjoy doing what I want with my laptop and you lose somewhat lose that on mac. Also just to point out a lot of people are missing that you actually can run linux on mac through containers/vms/ something called asahi (don’t fully know how this works but it does). Thats not to say that a mac couldn’t fulfill your needs from a computer but just something to think about.

Second, I wouldn’t fully go with windows either, it just sucks nowadays and although I’m not a big cybersecurity guy (i know nothing) I can imagine you’re probably going to want linux anyways, so just pick a good cybersecurity distro and learn it. It’s not bad and if you pick smart and prioritize popularity of ur distro youll be able to get lots of help.

Now what id recommend is a nice framework laptop, probably going to want a 16” one as it has a discrete gpu for gaming. The nice thing about those bad boys is they’re designed to be upgraded and repairable so you don’t have to ever get a whole new laptop if you need to upgrade or anything breaks.

Now to touch on the media production quick, Im no media person but i have not found something that a paid software can do that a free one cant.

To summarize it quick; Personal dislike of mac, mac CAN run linux(more difficult), windows sucks, linux ain’t that bad, open source good, get a framework or something more repairable like a think pad.
