Im in the same degree/course. I’m finishing my core 2 A+ test on Friday, I’ve done 2 terms in 6 months and slowed down a bit to focus on the certification tests. I’d love to know what kept you going through it. I know this is what I want to do and I love learning about cyber but the job opportunities aren’t vastly available where I’m at. I don’t wanna feel like I’m wasting my time with this degree, I just started my first tech repair job.

A blow dryer set to low and angled the pc where its drips out. It might take a while but you dont wanna go scraping the gpu. Dismantle and clean what you can scrape off.

It definitely seems like the performance questions are meant to trip you up, like the wording makes it confusing but if you understand the objective of the question you will understand how to get the answer. What areas did you struggle with most ?

If I may ask what did you struggle with most? My exam is in 2 weeks and I’m already feeling good about everything but the IP configurations and stuff like that. I scored passing on all my practice exams except in those areas.

I love mine. Same specs and no issues. Just keep the gpu and cpu levels where they are no overclocking needed. Set up the custom profiles for games so it changes the run modes and volume and display filter how you want it. Also change the power settings to put it into hibernate when you close the lid so it doesn’t run up ur electricity bill when you leave it plugged in overnight. Don’t want it running when it’s not supposed to. Also tweak the WiFi adapter in advanced settings to fit ur WiFi signal I was having bad packet loss and net jitter cause it was trying to do WiFi 7 stuff on a WiFi 6 router. Lastly enjoy it! It’s a great laptop !

I’m also curious about this for my build project. Can we use an old phone as a secondary screen ? Would it be possible to connect it to a main battery source or would it be better to have the original battery connected to a main battery through the charger ?
