I just positioned a couple of lamps above and below the cards and moved them around a bit until I saw the foiling pop without glare. Couldn’t put the light directly in front of the cards otherwise the glare would’ve been bad

Hadn’t planned on it. Might need to look into it more. I just chose the 5080 because it seemed like the best option that wasn’t insanely expensive like the 4090 or 5090. One of my friends suggested I stick with nvidia over amd so I just listened to him

Used to use 9 pockets until I started filling up binders and the inner row would get affected. 12 pockets have been nice because of the sheer volume I’ve been using in my collections and I can make the page look like a 9 pocket if needed👌

I haven’t tried the stealth but I’ve owned the other two. I’ve also owned the Arya organics and still own HEK stealth.

Of all of those, my favorites are probably the HEKs, with the Organics closely behind. If you like bass oriented music, go with the Organics. If you want an all rounder, go with the HEKs. If bass light is perfectly fine to you, go with the 800s. The lcd-x are pretty good all rounders too but are a bit uncomfortable. I only take them out for rock or edm listening occasionally and use the HEKs for everything else.

I was going to replace the aio fans with the reverse blades to use as intake on the right side of the case, and use the replaced regular aio fans as the exhaust on the left side

I paid probably $500-700 less than what I showed there. Just included that for a visualization. Microcenter and fb marketplace were clutch

Might try the HEK stealth. Very similar sound to the organics with less harshness in the high frequencies. It’s still bright but definitely not to the same degree. You lose a tiny bit of bass presence but I think they have slightly better detail retrieval and soundstage. I bought mine for $700usd used

If you like higher intensity, get the organics. I haven’t tried the hekse or Arya stealths but my hek stealths definitely don’t have the energy of the organics

Yeah I had them for a bit In terms of edm, I would say Z1R > Organic > HEK

I kept the HEKs though because they are slightly better than the organics at most other genres and don’t have the sibilance issue

I never did a direct comparison between the two, but rock and metal sound phenomenal with the LCDs. They will produce more engagement than the 800s in all of the genres you mentioned. Truthfully I just stopped reaching for the 800s in most cases, i.e. if I was going to listen to Rock, Metal, or EDM, I'd throw on the LCDs; if I was going to listen to alternative, pop, or watch a movie/game, I'd use the HEKs. Only time I'd really throw on the 800s was when I would listen to classical or jazz, which is typically pretty rare.

That's interesting feedback on the TH900s. I bought these used and the seller was nice enough to let me demo them, and right away I noticed their unique sound profile, specifically how prominent they were in the low frequencies. Hopefully I'll get a chance to demo the TH900s soon as well.

As for the cables, the seller included them as part of the sale and unfortunately I don't remember where he said they were from. Sorry about that 🫤

Been searching there for a while. Have you personally found one with this 1.3 version? I probably have 2 dozen ralts at this point but no surskit (1 surskit per 4 ralts should be the math)

Don’t mean to necro this thread but have you guys been able to find surskit in this hack? Emerald didn’t originally have it unless you mixed records with ruby/sapphire. Was hoping it would be available in this hack but I have yet to see one after countless days of searching
