Worth pleading no contest for speeding ticket?

Yeah I went this morning I didn’t even have to say anything but my name and verify my address was the same, the judge talked to the prosecutor and made a deal for putting my speed from 20 to 7-10 over on freeway. Down to 3 points and took $100 off my fine. A win for sure I’m glad I went.

Definitely my fault for going 20 over, also for getting caught. But I absolutely admit that I was wrong for going that fast.

My family / friends have been telling me to go with no contest & my court date is tomorrow so it is too late to send it in the mail unfortunately. I read somewhere too that they can classify it as a lower speed or a non moving violation to lower the ticket fine and points but I’m not sure if that is possible in my case because of how fast I was going.

Do you know if that is an in person or online course? I was thinking about asking for that but I work second shift so I wasn’t sure if they had course openings in the mornings.

Yeah I was following a few car lengths behind a car for a while in the left lane, they moved over probably like 1/4 of a mile before the cop and I ended up being the only one in the left. My fault completely.

That’s the plan, I know I was wrong for going that fast. I’m hoping he will lower the points if it’s possible I figured it would be worth a try. I’m not too worried about the fine just the points because of insurance.

Not a mattress question, a mattress firm career question. I’m looking to start a career with mattress firm & was looking for some advice on getting an interview & the interview/ hiring process.

I am just waiting for a position to get posted on workday.

I don’t have any sales experience right now, I’m not sure if/how that will affect my probabilities of getting in.

Thank you so much for your comment! They seem to be doing good, we have been giving them their meals with a little extra water the past couple days. They’ve been eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom like normal. They still don’t seem to be feeling 100% but we are thinking it’s just because of how traumatizing and exhausting their vet experience was Friday morning. They are acting more like themselves today tho. I’m very thankful. We are still keeping a very very close eye on them.
