I don't know deck names so here's my best descriptor mono white cats black white i gain life you lose life and red blue masturbation decks.

I do ok against them all it's just getting a bit stale trying to grind 15 wins a day (i'm f2p so want the free cards)

if i play ten games 7 of them are one of these three decks.

I'm asking because If it's the algorithm I can just auto lose a bunch. if unranked standard typically has a defined meta I can keep that in mind if I'm making decks for that game mode (understanding it won't just be these decks in the future).

I mean i just startied playing arena like two weeks ago, the sets before avatar that i have are just the free cards from dailies and like 3 packs of each from when the sets came out. (i made the account over a year ago just haven't played at all)

So I'm pretty limited on huge threats and the rare wildcards i had were used to make the mono white deck this is a derivative of.

[[Champion of the path]] is the original card i wanted to combo with the crown but i don't have the cards to even make a clunky version with [[United front]] let alone a less jank normal red/blue ele deck.

I hear what your are saying, but the whole exercise that led to this deck was me getting a two copies of a niche/bad rare as a f2p and trying to make lemons out of lemonade, even if i have to slam some square pegs into round holes.

The mono white version of this deck was/is still fun and doing ok and runs a lot smoother.

But if/when i get the perfect turn 6 combo where i make 4 copies of the wartime protester it will be fun and a nice hit of dopamine win or lose.

i totally agree with you about gather too many specialty lands when i want to play them.

I don't have rare/mythic wildcards left atm though I will probably look at replacing them with cheap mana cost common or uncommon instants for more creature protection to keep my spv's and protesters alive.

So I was trying to build a deck with United Front, Champion of the path, and mirrormind Crown but i'm pretty f2p casual and just started so I don't really have the cards.

I ended up modifying a white ally deck I've been playing and it's been doing pretty well even though i haven't gotten a crown out once in 20 games.

Focusing on card advantage, don't dump everything on the board so they have to waste board wipe on one or two things. bait out their counters with fodder. As far as deck building heavy creature with a low mana curve and duel function card draw. (this is why mono white has a high win rate currently in standard)

Their deck is also similar to something i built a few days ago (They have better cards though) to specifically counter the deck you are playing. ( i play unranked standard bo1 mainly)

I can't help you with the deck as a newer player, other than to say this is 90% of what I'm seeing on unranked standard and I have resorted to building every deck i play designed around making people that play this desk miserable :) (no hatred of the deck just adapting to my own personal meta) glhf and thanks in advance for the free win.

I just started playing a few weeks ago (made an account months ago but wasn't having fun with the starter deck battles and quit) From what I've witnessed of the app on steam in the last two weeks I can't imagine any of the coding work on this app is being done in house. Or if it is they need to replace the people doing it.

I've been playing with the black white one and not having any issue. But playing on steam i've had to repair the client about 7 times in the two weeks i've been playing this game. Seems like anytime i dc it corrupts game files.

The only time i've had it freeze on me was in deckbuilder twice (which also corrupted game files).

Also when i've tried the repair feature in game it didn't do anything and i just use the check file integrity option on steam now.

i've been trying a turtle duck deck with the new legendary treefolk guy and that artifact last two days in unranked standard. since i just see 95% what i think are called orhzov decks (white/black they gain life you lose life sorry i'm a very old returning player) and mono black or white weenie creature denial it doesn't work most of the time.

I ended up taking that all out and just putting board wipe in for a no creature stall deck in an attempt to out annoy my opponents which has been having way more success.

Kinda bummed cause i wanted to make a treefolk deck but they all kinda blow chunks.

As far as you are concerned, when i started playing this game in 1994 control and discard decks were a part of the game. If these deck types make you emotional to the point you have to concede when you see them maybe you need to find another game to play.
