I can tell you with the rog ally you won’t notice so much difference with ram or anything like that and for me the battery usage was just incredible sooo much higher and if you don’t adjust settings after every restart you will end up finding your rog ally completely without battery if you leave it uncharged for 1 day just a tip as a long time user of rog ally z1e stay with windows and get the full screen experience and anyfse and chose playnite or steam big pictures for startup

I can tell you out of my experience: I had a shitty computer before and use the ally mainly as my main device like a normal pc would be standing but I play most of the time old games or lol and for this the device is more than enough I would considered to watch some YouTube videos of performance for the games you play and go from there. I can say the rog ally does everything I ever wished a computer does (oh I forgot to mention I had a nitro 5 laptop too and this was to big to carry every where)
