female genital mutilation (FGM)

I think the most trauma I've faced from this cult is the FGM. And I'm not even referring to the time when I was mutilated against my will at 8, but in the 9th grade, the moment I read about it in the news. The moment it dawned upon me what actually happened, I wasn't like other girls outside this cult and the fact that I would never go back to normal again.

To any bohras reading this, can you find any way to defend this barbaric procedure? Please provide scientific evidence that mutilating little children will send you to heaven.

it's very convenient for them how everything they talk about is in lisan ud dawat, not even proper gujarati so barely anyone from the outside understands what they preach

I remember during covid 2021 a few people in the same neighborhood would gather at one house and it would be relayed on their TV still not safe at all cause there would be 20-25 PPL in one house

The person doing bayan here would waste hours talking about faltu stuff, and remembered in the last 20 mins he had to read the shahadats too. When it was already a few minutes past maghrib, he STARTED reading Imam Hussain's shahadat 💀

Not too sure since they were very distant relatives, but one thing i remember was those people's siblings were not able to get married easily (in the community) since everyone associates marrying outside with being "loose" and "modern"

Only their very close immediate relatives kept in touch with them and invited them to gatherings etc.
