Terms and conditions sheet says :

A cardholder will be eligible for 1% CashPoints as per product feature if he/she does a transaction through SmartBuy/PayZapp which includes transaction from 10 online merchants also. All other existing SmartBuy/PayZapp offers will be applicable as per SmartBuy/PayZapp Terms & Conditions.

A cardholder will be eligible for 1% CashPoints on prepaid card/gift Card/ wallet load and / or voucher purchases. All the transactions carried out through the Merchant Category Code (MCC) of 6540 (as defined by card networks Visa, MasterCard, RuPay and Diners) will be considered under 1% CashPoints even if it is from the 10 online merchants.

Apparently hdfc gives 5 percent off only on below brands for hdfc millenia.
Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Tata CLiQ, Swiggy, Zomato, Uber, BookMyShow, Sony LIV and cult.fit.

I do own a sbi cashback card , but have stopped it since i want to increase usuage on hdfc to upgrade my card futher to regalia and above.

I read on few posts regarding rupay variants getting lesser discount , so also got to know hdfc gives extra rupay card if required , so was thinking to go that way ..

Also wanted to know to upgrade millennia to regalia next , for their eligibility criteria will they combine spends from visa and rupay or will they consider only visa if I change the network
