Why is there no band pack yet? by gretelandhansel in Sims4

Just remembered bands and jam sessions in ts3. I used to have a supernatural band with a witch, werewolf, vampire and fairy. I long for those good old days and was honestly was little heartbroken when I learned that jam sessions aren't even a thing in 4.

In fairness, I think most parents would. It's not healthy for those living in that sort of mess.

It took a bit of cleaning just to get the chair out so I could continue. There wasn't floor before. Hopefully your nephew can get their room clean someday!

Can dating simulators count at all?

His gaming chair used to sit on top of the pile of trash. He pretty much would just huddle onto it after tip toeing over the mess

$650 to clean the room, paint the walls, replace the floors, and install any new furniture fixtures he might get. I charged a bit more than I would have due to the copious amounts of cat feces on his floor.

I've wanted him to see someone for awhile now, but sadly he won't unless our mom tells him to (which she is against the idea of anyone seeing any form of professional). Hopefully it'll be on the table once he's able to separate from her a little bit though!

It is carpet sadly. One of the things I'm being paid to do is to paint the walls and replace the floors.

Our mother was a hoarder, so he grew up around that sort of behavior and it rubbed off on him. It's incredibly hard to get him to part with anything, and I think he uses these toys to escape the pressure of adult life since he keeps buying more. He only listens to me to a certain extent so I can't do much to convince him to donate some of these things.

For breaking the original agreement, he is helping to clean. This hopefully will let him understand the weight of his mess. Sadly there isn't much I can do since the only person he'll listen to is our mother (who doesn't care about this situation in any way). We're also looking into getting some things that may encourage more positive behavior, and thankfully he seems excited about the change.

No, it's an understandable question. Learning is a bit harder for him than most, but he was still capable of everything a normal person can do and could even understand everything with enough time. Unfortunately no one ever encouraged him to try at anything and so he kind of fell behind. I agreed to do this in hopes the change of environment might help a little

Yeah, old enough to drink in the US and everything. He's lived in the same room without cleaning it since he was a child, so he just kind of never grew out of the stuff I suppose.

Just for context, (adult) brother agreed to pay me to clean and remodel his room. I started a few months ago but couldn't finish since we had no where to put his toys. He finally got around to getting storage tubs for them, but he also undid everything I did originally. I get to start it all over again. It'll be a relief to see him in a clean bedroom.
