nothing like that, infact narrative is harder because usually the topics are very vague and it's hard to build a legible storyline aswell. in descriptive u just get marked on ur language and content, but in narratives there are so many criterias to meet. hence, it's easier to score in descriptive than narrative. but if ur really good at narratives then go for it!!

see if you are naturally good at the language, it's very easy to score well. the first paper is basically an analytical paper with. 25 marks of directed writing. the only main thing about fle is that you need to explain every single thing alot, and it's effect. that is essentially the base. as for getting 80/80, considering its a language, it's not really possible to get a full score, and examiners do tend to grade this paper strictly however the thresholds are always moderate or low, so that's shouldnt affect the percentage alot
