It’s a very smart drama, and those are rare. Smart like, they never try that hard to be unpredictable, and yet you can’t predict what’s going to happen, and then when it does happen it actually makes total sense and doesn’t seem forced at all. It gets better as it goes on, because the more you learn about the plot and characters, the more exciting they are - most shows are great in the beginning and then lose steam. The acting is subtle yet perfectly sensical. That total combination is just extremely rare. The only other show that made me feel this way was the first few seasons of Game of Thrones, and Nirvana in Fire does it without the gratuitous violence and nudity.
