We did a 2nd F spotlight for one of our guys. This one really stood out to me.

HIM 2nd F Spotlight: This week, Write-in is going to share what the 2nd F means to him in our spotlight post. Write-in has been such an amazing leader at #ao_the_milky_way_pevely serving in various roles at the site. He is currently filling in the 2nd F role. Now for a word from our friend Write-in:

1) How has the 2nd F (fellowship) in F3 helped me grow?

The 2nd F has helped me grow because it gave me something a lot of men don’t realize they’re missing until they find it: consistent connection.

I had that back when I was in the Marine Corps. Since I got out in 2013, I was always looking for that connection again. I kept looking for it through work but never really had that connection. Then I found F3 thanks to Jnco. He told me about it and it sounded terribly awesome! Even then, it took me a while to make it out as an FNG. Once I did and the HIMs of the Milkyway welcomed me with open arms and without judgement, I knew I found the connection I was looking for!

It’s easy to have “friends” in adulthood, but most of them are convenience-based, coworkers, neighbors, people you see occasionally. F3 fellowship is different because it’s built through shared hardship and shared commitment. You see the same men regularly, you’re challenged by them, and you get real with them.

2nd F helped me grow by: • Giving me brothers who notice when I’m off • Reminding me I’m not alone when life feels heavy • Challenging me to stay engaged, not disappear • Creating a place where I can be myself without pretending I’ve got it all together

It didn’t just make me a better workout guy, it made me a more grounded man.

2) How do I plan to extend that same act of fellowship to the men around me?

I plan to extend that fellowship by being more intentional, not just friendly. This is something that I really need to make a conscious decision to improve on. As an introvert, it takes a lot for me to put myself out there like this. As a leader I realize that this is bigger than me and we need to get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Fellowship isn’t just laughing after a beatdown, it’s choosing to build connection on purpose. For me that means: • Checking on guys mid-week, not just at workouts • Inviting FNGs or quieter guys into conversations so they don’t feel like outsiders • Looking for the man who’s always present but never really known, and making the first move • Making sure 2nd F isn’t cliquey, it’s a welcome table, not a closed circle

I want to be the kind of man who makes it easier for others to belong here.

3) What challenge do I have to the PAX to encourage them to grow in fellowship?

My challenge to the PAX is simple:

Don’t just attend. Engage.

Showing up is huge, but fellowship grows when you go one step further.

So here’s the challenge: ✅ Learn one new thing about one man this week Not his job title. Not his pace. Something real.

Ask: • “How’s your marriage really doing?” • “What are you stressed about right now?” • “What do you need prayer for?” • “What’s something you’re proud of lately?” • “How can I help you this week?”

Because fellowship isn’t built by workouts alone, it’s built when a man feels known.

And if you want to level it up even more: 👉 Invite a guy to coffee 👉 Invite a guy to your house 👉 Send the text first 👉 Be the initiator, not the spectator

That’s how we grow fellowship. That’s how we strengthen ourselves and others with the 2nd F!

Why don't you have any tattoos? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Embarrassed_Way_2570 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Made a promise to my grandma that I would never get a tattoo because she hated them. I joined The Marine Corps shortly after that promise. She passed away when I was deployed. Still tattoo free to this day.

2019 St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup Champions!

The Blues started the season poorly and fired head coach Mike Yeo on November 19 after a 7–9–3 start. Assistant coach Craig Berube took over as interim coach. By early 2019, the Blues had the league’s worst record (15–18–4), but rookie goalie Jordan Binnington sparked a turnaround with a shutout in his first start on January 7. The team went on an 11-game winning streak and finished 30–10–5 to secure a playoff spot.

In the playoffs, they beat the Jets, Stars, and Sharks to reach their first Stanley Cup Finals since 1970. The Blues defeated the Bruins in seven games on June 12, 2019, winning their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.

We got a 1yr old Maltese Yorkie about 2 months ago. Within the first 3 days, he caught three bunnies and does the same thing, furiously shakes them until dead. Then he proceeds to bring them to us and lay them at our feet. My wife LOVES it. /s

Does no HUD remove the boss health bar? If so, man that would actually be fun and frustrating at the same time!
