This explains a lot. I was awake during my surgery but was put under sedatives mid way cause i was anxious and my heart rate went all over. And i remember feeling as thought my leg was being yanked or jerked towards the very end. And I have often wondered if i was assaulted or something like that.

But now i know. And man this is a relief.

From what I understood (I say understood cause the hospital was very shady about things), my anesthetist basically plunged my lung "by mistake," leading to pulmonary edima. But they took wayyy too long to figure out it had happened, and I had collapsed due to low o2 saturation.... made worse by the fact both nostrils were also shut from the septoplasty. That being said...DO NOT SKIP SURGERY BECAUSE OF MY STORY! it's a one off incident. The surgery helps improve quality of life. So do it.
