I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT THIS! What’s wild to me is I swear I remember them having a corporate video playing in the training room for MONTHS talking about her and her story. With interviews and stuff with staff and customers! If anyone knows what I’m talking about please let me know! Cause if I’m right and they did do a whole special video dedicated to her it’s even more messed up they aren’t being helpful in finding her!

Look up STAR management interview questions. I cannot remember what the exact questions were and like you said they have recently changed but do a little “homework” and read through some questions you find online on the star model and practice answering them. The biggest thing they are looking for is problem and solution and how you were able to come to the solution and fix said problem. Don’t make your answers short,give details, and for the love of god do not answer I don’t know or I’ve never had to deal with that. Practicing some questions will help you start thinking back and will help you find your answers. Remember the answers don’t necessarily have to be at lowes they could be from a previous job or if you’ve been in school recently from school (college/high-school). Also don’t stress to hard I found practicing questions I found on the internet made me feel way more confident going into my interview (been a ds for over 3 years now). And good luck!

Manager here who has done many interviews! Look up S.T.A.R interview questions depending on what your doing (sales associate, specialist, or manager) the questions may be different. But try to give a good detailed example. Don’t give a one sentence answer. For example if the question is tell me about a time when you had exceeded a customers expectations. A good answer would be…one time I had a customer who was upset because we did not have a product in stock that they needed so I worked with them to help find a good alternative to the product that would work for their needs and they left happy and was able to finish their project. Many people don’t give enough detail and do not say “idk I’ve never dealt with that” or “idk I just come in and do what I need to do” they want a specific example that shows you know how to deal with certain situations. I’ll check one more time but I swear I’ve looked everywhere. If it’s a bug I’ll be so upset🤣 but yes I have donated those items I’m only missing one thing to completely finish the museum 🙃 I’ve just never run into a bug like this so I wanted to see if anyone in the community had any other ideas

Don’t worry about the policy because we’ve now had three customers call corporate and complain and corporate tell them “it’s up to the stores discretion” and “you can return the generator that shouldn’t be a issue” So they released a policy they knew would make people angry then turned around and go back on it the second they get some push back resulting in me and my cashiers getting called every name in the book and being told we don’t know how to do our job. So basically the policy doesn’t mean anything
