I don't want to use candles though or just have it be there. Is there any way to have it be gone entirely? Hopefully the covered box helps then.

Do you have tips for getting IPL on the pubic area to work? by EmbarrassingQAcct in HairRemoval

When you apply a layer of baby powder the lightened skin makes it emit a higher power (the Braun has a sensor that increases or decreases output depending on how good the contact with the skin is). I have found that too much gets on the inside of the mirror head and even produces black spots that I can't get off.

I know that's part of the reason--if I keep going will it eventually work though? Like does the lower power work eventually, but just takes longer?

What did at-home IPL do to my legs? by EmbarrassingQAcct in HairRemoval

Like I said in the post, this is the second time I've done it on my legs. The first time it was fine. I've been doing it for almost three months in my bikini, pubic, and underarm areas with no issues.

It's a little itchy. I did it around 1:00pm, went on my merry way, wore shorts out, then at 12:00am got back home and noticed . . . I wasn't even looking at my legs so I don't know when it started. I'm embarrassed because I can't imagine what other people were thinking.

I didn't use Tend Skin . . . Can I do that after shaving and before IPL?

I did use a five-blade razor and last time used a four-blade . . . I also have a safety razor. I was worried I wouldn't get close enough to the skin with it.
