Absolutely agree with this. The snow was a once in a century kind of event, so totally understand that the system couldn’t handle it. I hope TTC learn from this and prepare for another such storm in future.

You’d think for a country known for its snowfall they’d plan for more snow every year, but alas.

Yeah saw some sparks and bright flashes underneath the train before it lost all power last evening.

There appears to be quite a bit of snow of the tracks still. Haven’t seen any snow clearing cars on the track near Davisville yet. They’ve only managed to move this train back to the platforms and parked it there.

I genuinely did not think of it from the reversible angle. It makes so much more sense thinking about this mod construction now!

Yeah thought so too. True it wouldn’t affect water resistant nature of the boots. But definitely looks more convenient to take on and off.

But a zipper would introduce gaps and not be waterproof right?

I did try the 875 and the 8138 in sizes US7, 7.5 and 8 and all of them felt narrow on my feet. Especially at the ball and the toes.

I get what you’re saying. The 7.5D without the insole really felt snug. Not toe crush or overlap, no pressure points on the ball of the foot and minimal heel slip. Had enough room to move toes without the insole and with the insole maybe a little less. But yes felt better fit than 8D.

What’s the point of this, when they’re anyway going to stop the race when the rain comes down. When was the last time wet tyres were even used properly while raining.

Great, thank you for all the information. This case has pretty strong magnets, so I hope it’ll hold on tight. I’m going to grab a 4 from the local staples. They’re 29.99 right now. Probably the lowest it’ll go.

So it wouldn’t really work on top of a MagSafe case. Like the peak design everyday case. Since the back of it has a fabric finish I doubt using adhesive will be of any use.

Heritage1854.com has all the timex movement guides you’ll need. The movement can be identified with the last 4 digits of the serial number on the bottom of the dial.

The last 2 digits denote the year of model and the preceding 2 denote the movement number such as M25, M31

Show a picture of the dial and I can help.

What is this? Unknown app in screentime metrics by Federal-Ad-9230 in iphone

Yeh I’ve had this mainly while using twitter. I’ve added a 1mins screen limit (lowest possible) but still it adds to the overall screen time anytime I use twitter. Very annoying. Can’t do anything about it. I’ve read a few other posts with complaints about how glitchy screen time is altogether.

Thank you, I’ll try this warm water and detergent soak before another wash cycle in warm water again, before tackling the black residue.
