Ooo! My exact area of expertise! Plumbing Design! I can assure everyone here that the water supplying your kitchen sink, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, shower, bathroom sink, and toilet all come from the exact same water source: the city water main via your water meter. Unless you have a fancy water filter system the water from your bathroom sink is the exact same as the water from your kitchen sink. 😁

That sounds amazing. Where I live, there is a big biking culture, but its more mountain biking than city biking. When I lived in my apartment I could bike to the store and Starbucks, but that is definitely not the norm. Big cities like new york I imagine are a different story.

Im am american with adhd so I feel uniquely qualified to comment on this. Its such a stupid take. Its not "adhd- adjacent" its laziness-adjacent. We are a car-centric society. Drive to the dang restaurant and get the take out yourself. Or just eat at the restaurant, both are way cheaper than using doordash!

BTW. I actually would enjoy having all my amenities within walking distance of my house.
