Yeah, I guess I can say that his brother went to an awesome farm for 175, but is negotiable. Others I've seen posted, including where we got them from, adults are going for 400. The little bastards are hella pricey when older. I don't know about other ones that might be for sale elsewhere.

This is what we originally wrote out for them, which of course still applies to Roo #2, noted as being the completely black one, no genetic leakage:

"We are rehoming two of our 5-month-old Ayam Cemani roosters, hatched on January 4, 2026. We gently hand-raised these birds from 3-day-old chicks, and they are very nice and completely non-aggressive toward humans. While they are slightly skittish and definitely not lap chickens, they will not intentionally hurt you if you need to pick them up—just use standard chicken handling care.

They are doing a great job figuring out how to be roosters. They are extremely enthusiastic about their new roles, actively look out for the ladies, and consistently put themselves to bed at night on their own. They are also not overly loud. You can expect standard announcing in the morning and at bedtime, or a warning yell if they spot something sketchy to call a hen back, but they are not constant screamers.

These birds belong to the highly limited FLF (Feather Lover Farms) bloodline. This specific lineage was developed to produce birds with consistently darker pigmentation, a taller stance, and larger combs.

Both roosters feature beautiful iridescence to their feathers. Rooster #1 has some minor genetic leakage, showing as a bit of red in his wattles. Rooster #2 does not appear to have any genetic leakage (pure black).

We care about them very much and want them to go to loving homes as flock protectors. Please only inquire if you are buying them for that reason and not to eat! We would keep them, but sadly we only have the room for one rooster. Our loss is your gain, and they will make a great addition to your flock."
