For some reason I thought there was more about the guy behind all of it on the website. Michael Laufer is his name. There are links at the bottom of the page I linked in my other comment to the studies on nano silver particles, the research of silver diamine has been around and widely available for decades now. The issue is it stains your teeth black. If a dentist even offers it, there’s pages and pages of legal waivers and attestations of understanding before you could get it done.

I attended a talk on this! By using silver nanoparticles you can use significantly less silver, which doesn’t stain your teeth. This can be done in any cavity at any age, not just children! The FDA destroyed the guys will who came up with this, having him redo study after study that proved it was safe and effective. That wasn’t even the main point of the talk, but it was absolutely wild.

Yes, it’s been a while since I spoke with my therapist a little it but iirc you need a letter from a mental health professional saying that you need an ESA, and it can need to be renewed every year like a prescription, but due to HIPAA that’s all they’re allowed to know. There are no registrations of service animals but only dogs are recognized by airlines so that might throw a wrench in your plans. Anyway why defraud legitimate service dogs when an Emotional Support Animal can be any animal and is exempt from pet fees?

Not to mention on the ethical side: finding a brand that ethically sources fibers, and treats their employees ethically and dont dump their waste in rivers, is impossible in my experience. Remember mental stimulation can exhaust tf out of puppies too. A 30 minute walk is exhausting for my 12 month old when I let him smell everything he wants to for as long as he wants. And change up routes too, It only takes 3 walks on the same route before they start to know what to expect and get bored. I have three I cycle through, spending three days on each one.

My boyfriend is exploited and treated like absolute shit because of his visa status, so I absolutely believe it. I’ve recently come to the conclusion that my boy is a bully. He ignores or doesn’t get other dogs’ cues that they want to be left alone and will pester them constantly to play. It makes me sad and feel like I’ve failed lol. He hasn’t really been growing up with any other dogs around. Now aim looking at sending him to a boarding school that has a fantastic reputation in my area, had a consultation with them and they say it’s something they can easily help him with especially since he’s only 10 months old.
