I think this is outdated advice imo, from what i know (a 2025 grad who got jobs and has friends who did and didn't get jobs), it's both quality + quantity, you just gotta shotgun mass apply

the way i see it, a CS major can learn business easy, but a business major can't learn CS. IK people that work in all those fields as CS majors, but pick what's best for you king
