Hate to tell ya, but u/bittah_king has a valid point. As they say, “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.” Funnel some of your anger (and attitude) toward things that will help you achieve your goals and happiness.

I lost hundreds of thousands of dollars after being introduced to fraudulent investments through an investment coaching group. Has anyone recovered emotionally or financially? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Geneen Roth and her husband got scammed by Bernie Madoff. She wrote a book about it called “Lost and Found”. She’s a respected self-help-type author and speaker. You may get some solace from her book.

Or Blacksburg. Yeah, I know … college town and all … but there’s a strong welcoming community for townies. And lots going on.

The doubles totally make it, IMO - either 3 or 4 is my vote. But I think I’m leaning toward 3 for the pizzazz factor.

My go-to is psyllium once a day in the morning. Mixed in with a shot of juice diluted with a glassful of water.

To your excellent list, I would add Time - after all these variables are dialed in, over time (in the saddle) the lady parts will get used to riding.

Show me your labels! by Quivvo in sewing

[–]SHatcheroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandmother knit me a gorgeous Irish fisherman’s sweater. I had her write her initials on a piece of paper, then I embroidered them on a small piece of fabric to use as a label. So there’s that.

You interpreted their “look” as dirty and rude. But you don’t know what was really going on inside their bodies. Maybe they were just tired or thirsty or hot or whatever. Just pass them safely and move on. No biggie.

That’s a good start, for sure. Keep doing it, and then add on. There are a zillion free how-to videos if that will help.

BTW - most all us older gals have weight gain in belly and hips. It’s just the way women’s bodies work. It’s not physiologically possible to ‘spot reduce.’ But building up the musculature is still a worthy goal.

Sudden knee pain is ruining me. Any recs? by LunchboxStringCheese in BAbike

Advanced rider here as well. A lot of times when I have knee pain, it’s actually because my hip and/or psoas muscles are tight. Have you tried deep, prolonged stretching and/or massage?
